BUILDER PROFILE
Lynn Tallent, owner of TCM, Inc., grew up on the eastern slope of Colorado in Commerce City. He majored in Architectural Drafting with a minor in Surveying at Trinidad State College in Trinidad, Colorado.
Lynn moved to Delta, Colorado in 1985 and worked for various construction companies. In 1990, Lynn became the building official for the City of Delta and held that position until 1998 when he then moved to the position of building official for the City of Montrose. In the year 2000, Lynn and his wife, Becky, decided to start their own construction management company, TCM, Inc., (Tallent Construction Management). He built approximately 70 homes in the Pearl Crest Subdivision and also helped to start American Village as a partner with American Village Builders. He then went on to take over The Glens Subdivision and has completed approximately 70 homes there. During this time, Stone Mountain Village in Delta also became one of Lynn’s projects and he has built 12 homes there as well as numerous custom homes scattered throughout the Montrose and Delta area including Fox Hollow, Fox Park, Fox Hills, Fox Ridge, Cobble Creek and Brown’s Ranch.
Lynn holds certifications as a building inspector, mechanical inspector, plumbing inspector, cross connection and backflow inspector and fire suppression system inspector. Lynn also served as a City of Delta planning commissioner from May 2000 to May 2003.
Now with his focus on Peppertree South in Montrose and Fox Hollow Estates in Delta, Lynn’s main objective is to design and build homes with quality products and features that suit many individual’s styles and needs.
